A stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun state, Asiwaju Ayorinde Babatunde (Fabregas) has congratulated the Muslim faithful on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, calling on people to use the occasion to strengthen their trust in God as the divine source of sustenance exemplified by the Holy Prophet Ibarahim.

In a goodwill message to the entire Muslim Ummah in Sagamu, Ogun state and Nigeria at large, Fabregas noted that “Eid-el-Kabir presents the nation and indeed humanity with a boundless occasion to recommit to the virtues of selflessness, love and care for one another, especially in the face of economic, political and social challenges facing us as a people”.

The message reads further, “I urge everyone, particularly our leaders to use the occasion of this festive season to show more sacrifices towards the people and pursue only those things that will improve the living conditions of Nigerians”.

He therefore he implored everyone to reach out, share with and uplift one another so that the joy of the Eid-el-Kabir is spread among all.
