A stalwart of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Sagamu local government, Asiwaju Ayorinde Babatunde (Fabregas) has joined other party faithful to mourn the death of a former ward chairman of the party in ward four, Mr. Samuel Olatoye (Baba Bread).

In a condolence message personally signed by him, Hon. Ayorinde stated that the party lost a fine, loyal and committed gentleman who is devoid of bitter politics. He noted that the deceased is known to be a calm and reserved person who deployed all of the resources available to him in ensuring progress of the party while serving as a ward chairman.

“I received with rude shock, news of the death of a gentleman to the core and one time ward chairman of the party, Mr. Samuel Olatoye, popularly known as Baba bread.

“I am profoundly touched by the passing of this committed party man whose outstanding qualities can be seen in the conduct of his own easy going lifestyle.


It is with a heavy heart that I join other party faithful to commiserate with the grieving family. May God grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and grant a peaceful repose of the deceased soul”, the statement reads.
