The leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in Ijebu north local government has conferred an ‘Outstanding Youth’ award on the publisher of Instant News Guru, Comr. Sobowale Olayinka for his commitment to the ethics of good journalism and accurate report of events.

The award was presented to him at the epoch making 2022 Ijebu North Youth Award Night held at the expansive Adrad hall in Ago Iwoye, Ogun state. The award aims to encourage the deserving writer who have played a huge role in reporting news related to sports, politics, culture, business and entertainment through his popular online news blog – Instant News Guru.

In his remark, Olayinka thanked the leadership of NYCN in Ijebu North, chaired by Comr. Ismail Ogunleye for finding him worthy of the prestigious award which he claimed will spur him to continue aiming for the pea. He acknowledged that the maiden edition of Ijebu North Youth Awards will encourage a lot of youths to strive to be the best in their various fields. Finally, he vowed to give maximum support in ensuring that the awards which is aimed at recognising the sterling performance of the deserving youths in Ijebu North comes to stay.
