There was palpable tension on Thursday in the Ijanikin area of Lagos State, as hoodlums invaded the palace of Oloto of Oto Awori Kingdom, Oba Aina Kuyamiku.

Vehicles belonging to the monarch were destroyed, while some shops in the area were burnt.

A combined team of military and police operatives has beefed up security in the area.
