The member representing the good people of Ijebu Igbo at the Ogun State House of Assembly and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded State Assembly election, Hon. Sylvester Niyi Abiodun has congratulated the winner of the March 18 House of Assembly elections in Ijebu North state constituency 1; AbdulRasheed Kashamu.

This was contained in a statement personally signed by Hon. Abiodun who described the outcome of the election as the will of the people. He thanked the good people of his constituency for coming out in good numbers to peacefully cast their votes according to their conscience and interests.

He noted that the people know what is best for them and have voted as such. “The will of God and that of the people has prevailed as seen in the result of the Saturday poll. Election is not a do or die affair and it is on this basis I am congratulating the OGHA member-elect, Mr. Rasheed Kashamu on his victory and wishing him success as he carries on the task of purposefully representing the interest of the good people of Ijebu Igbo”.

In the same vein, Hon. Abiodun has congratulated the governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR on his re-election victory. He described the victory as a result of good governance the people of Ogun State have enjoyed in the past four years. He also expressed confidence that the re-election of the governor would allow him consolidate on his building our future together agenda with which he has taken the gateway state to enviable height in just four years.
