The leadership of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) has sent felicitations to the adherents of the islamic faith all over the country, particularly in Ogun State, on the occasion of the 2023 Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.

The message was conveyed in a statement issued by the union’s Publicity Secretary; Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, wherein he stated that the practice of waiting, self denial, fasting and prayers were the hallmark and some of the cardinal templates of sacrifice and commitment in the principles of Islam.

According to Sokoya, the forgiveness and reconciliation tenets of the fasting period, which cut across all tribes, reminds the people of their oneness and togetherness as a nation.

“It is therefore an opportunity to appreciate and celebrate with one another, as a people bounded in love and unity”, he stated.

Continuing, Sokoya admonished everyone to embrace and promote fundamental principles of care and joy to all, as the marking of Ramadan symbolizes. He prayed that the blessing of Allah fill the life of Nigerians with peace, joy and good health.
