As Nigerian Muslims join their counterparts all over the world to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, House of Reps Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Ijebu Central Federal constituency is the recently concluded national assembly election, Barrister Taiwo Kabir Shote (a.k.a PEPE) has conveyed goodwill message to Muslims in Ogun state and Nigeria as a whole on the occasion of the 2023 Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.

Shote, in his message, enjoined all Muslim faithful to extend the spiritual benefits of Ramadan which are love, peace & justice to their daily living.

“I extend warmth wishes to our Muslim brothers and sisters celebrating Eid-el-Fitr. I congratulate everyone who have successfully undertaken the month-long Ramadan fast”.

He reminded Nigerians of the importance of respecting the faiths and beliefs of all and therefore enjoined Muslim faithful and Nigerians in general to use the occasion of the celebration and pray for peace, unity and progress of the nation.

“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitri, it is my hope and prayer that Ramadan’s spiritual lessons and the Holy Prophet’s teachings of piety, love, justice, fairness, equity, peaceful co-existence with others, tolerance and honesty will remain with us all for the benefit and greater glory of our dear country”, the message concluded.
