A former secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ward 6, Ijebu North local government area of Ogun state, Mr. Segun Osibowale has joined in pouring encomium on the Deputy Minority Whip of the Federal House of Representatives (2019 – 2023), Rt. Hon. Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya (Attacker) for his unrivalled and unequalled performance while representing the interest of the good people of Ijebu North, Ijebu East & Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency.

Osibowale described the federal legislator’s achievement as unprecedented while congratulating him on the successful completion of his two term tenure (2015 – 2023). He urged other lawmakers to take a cue from the leadership style of the Deputy Minority Whip while expressing confidence that a brighter future and portfolio awaits him. Below is the full text of Osibowale’s message :

As the 9th National Assembly wind down and as the 10th Assembly will be proclaimed by Mr President, one singular thing I’m impressed about Distinguished Deputy Minority Whip @⁨Hon. Attacker⁩ is the way he had drawn monumental projects to the citizenry. The rate at which he drew these gigantic projects is extremely alarming. Alarming in the sense that, it was unpredecented in the history of Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Water Side Federal Constituency.

Distinguished Rt Hon Attacker didn’t lose because he didn’t perform, infact, he performed creditably and of course, to the amazing level at which people like us still not believe a House of Reps member can achieve up to 30% of his achievements, but he lost out of the fact that voters were misled to the fact that, there’s no third term. To as many we could convince, we did, but God Almighty is the one that crowns efforts.

In the history of this federal constituency, and with a lot of respect to our leaders who had hitherto occupied this post, I can boldly say that, no one has achieved up to 30% of the achievements of Rt Hon Attacker.

He’s a thorough grassroot politician, no wonder he climbed the ladder from a supervisor, to vice chairman and of course the chairman of the local govt, all in Kosofe Local Govt in Lagos State.

Back in Ogun State, he was a P A to Distinguished Senator Jubril Martins Kuye (of blessed memory) when the latter was the Minister of State for Finance. He was also a Commissioner IV, and later, two terns commissioner for works under OGD administration.

He was elected House of Rep member in 2015, and got re-elected in 2019. He was a benefactor to many people, whom he has gotten federal govt jobs for (including my humble self)

@⁨Hon. Attacker⁩ sir, history will be kind to you, and posterity will also be kind to you. To someone like me, you gave me fish, and also thought me how to fish. I’ll forever be glad to you and your entire household.

If God is still on the throne, and his name hasn’t changed, I see another appointment coming your way. Yes, I can see another appointment coming your way, where you’ll still be able to serve the humanity.
