An aspirant for the post of Coordinator in the forthcoming congress of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in Ijebu North local government, Comr. Sobowale Abolaji Adeniyi (Impact) has reeled out his manifesto wherein he vowed to create a sustainable pathway for policies of encompassing opportunities in the dynamic world of self-condense of growth and development which will break frontiers in all spheres of human endeavour.

MANIFESTO OF COMRADE ABOLAJI SOBOWALE

Fellow youths of Ijebu North,

In the spirit of formulating and implementing policies and programmes targeted at developing the entire youths in our dear local government, my zeal has been passionately charged to drive the affairs of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ijebu North local government branch.

Undoubtedly, the world evolves and as we are emerging in the ever growing world of opportunities, I bring to you all, the manifesto of unequivocal representation aimed at redefining the zeal of the youths to create a sustainable pathway for policies of encompassing opportunities in the dynamic world of self-condense of growth and development which will break frontiers in all spheres of human endeavour.

Dear comrades, this manifesto is to share with you, my perspective on how we can implement action plans for an enabling atmosphere for all-round youth development. My priorities include but not limited to; Youths’ welfarism, sports, education, constant community awareness on the roles of youths, human capital development, remodeling and rebranding our youths through responsible and responsive youth representation.

I am of the firm believe that youths development is proportional to general national growth and development in a swift response to the demands of the emerging world. The surmountable courage before us as youths of this great local government, is to be responsible and responsive to shape our future brightly by development, empowerment and endearment of unity and integrity in order to establish our tentacles in national affairs as impeccable.

Also, I shall create a synergy between NYCN and the ministry of youth in the local government to absorb discovered potentials in breaking frontiers in arts, academics & sports for state, national and international representation.

Fellow Comrades, My decision to vie for the position of the NYCN Coordinator in Ijebu North local government is borne out of my desires to serve and my personal conviction that I possess all the sterling qualities, and I understand clearly, the vision and mission of the concept of Symbol of Positive Change.

Aspiration into leadership positions ought to be premised on the willingness and ability of the aspirant to serve the collective and common interest of the people. Seeking for a post purely on the ground of honour, prestige or status, such will confer on the society not only eccentrically absurd of the aspirant but also detrimental to the supposed entity to be represented.

In a nutshell, I am using this platform to appeal to your integrity for your cooperation and support.

According to the popular aphorism; a tree cannot make a forest. I know that without your support, it would be difficult for my dream to come to reality. It is my promise to continue to work for the growth of our youths and the society.

Considering and realizing our roles as key players in this arena and with our relevance in our society today, I promise to uphold the values and virtues of the office in consonance with the demands, yearnings and aspiration of our youths in Ijebu North, in conformity with the constitution of NYCN.

Build the youths, build the nation !!!
