In a surprising twist, Bobrisky, the well-known crossdresser, confessed to being male during a courtroom spectacle on Friday.

Despite his public persona as a woman, Bobrisky has long faced speculation regarding his gender identity, even claiming to have undergone surgeries to transition.

In a notable Instagram post, Bobrisky even expressed willingness to conceive a child, further fueling the debate over his gender.

Initially wanted by the Rivers Police Command in 2019, Bobrisky faced scrutiny as his images circulated online alongside criminal allegations.

However, Bobrisky occasionally presents himself as male, notably during his father’s funeral last year in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, where he notably avoided cameras and concealed his identity.

During his court appearance, Bobrisky, dressed in dark attire and a scarf to partially obscure his face, openly admitted his male identity when questioned by Justice Abimbola Awogboro.

Following his admission and guilty plea to four counts of currency abuse brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Bobrisky was sentenced to a six-month jail term, beginning from his arrest date of March 24, 2024.
