…..elevates four branch chairmen as State executives

At the extended state executive meeting of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), held at the union’s secretariat in Abeokuta on Wednesday, the association expressed its profound gratitude to the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, for the subsidized rice initiative. The program, which offers rice at a reduced rate of N40,000 per bag, was applauded by the union as a timely intervention to alleviate the economic pressures faced by its members.

The union’s Chairman, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, spoke on behalf of the state executives and the entire AMORAN members, acknowledging the initiative as a key measure in supporting low-income earners across the state. Sokoya affirmed the union’s commitment to supporting the government’s policies and working in harmony to ensure the welfare of gateway people, particularly its members.

In addition, the meeting also saw the elevation of several branch chairmen of the union to the position of state executives. Those promoted include Comrade Adetola Odunuga Kazeem as Welfare Officer, Mr. Soyinka Abiodun as Auditor, Alhaji Onikoyi Olayinka as Provost Marshal IV and Mr. Kazeem Afolabi Arikewusola.

The newly elevated officers were charged with the responsibility of further strengthening the union’s operations and ensuring its continued success.
