IJEBU NORTH NYCN HOLDS ANNUAL MANAGEMENT MEETING, PROMISES MORE YOUTH-FOCUSED INITIATIVES IN 2025
The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ijebu North Chapter, held its Annual Management Meeting on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Ago Iwoye Town Hall.
The event brought together notable stakeholders of the council, including heads of various organizations, the State Youth Officer, the Ijebu North Local Government Youth Officer and members of the NYCN executive council within the local government area.
In his opening remarks, the Coordinator, Ogbeni Abolaji Adeniyi Sobowale (a.k.a IMPACT), expressed heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering support his administration has received so far. He emphasized that the progress achieved in 2024 was a testament to the unity and collective efforts within the youth constituency under his leadership.
Reflecting on the council’s achievements for the year, Sobowale highlighted the need for greater commitment and ambition in the coming year. He urged heads of organizations to set higher standards and prioritize impactful initiatives that would further advance the council’s objectives in 2025.
The State Youth Officer, Mr. Adebamiro Ganiu, commended Sobowale and his team for their dedication to addressing the challenges facing youths and for maintaining the integrity of the council. Similarly, the Local Government Youth Officer, Mr. Okuneye Gbenga, called for increased unity among youths. He assured attendees that sustained collaboration and momentum would lead to even greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
The meeting concluded with a closing prayer led by Dr. Rasheed Oladunjoye, followed by a reception to celebrate the successes of the year and enhance camaraderie among attendees.
