Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, to ₦825 per litre, down from the previous ₦835, as competition intensifies in the domestic fuel market.

This marks the second price reduction in recent weeks. Last month, the 650,000 barrels-per-day refinery cut its price from ₦865 to ₦835 per litre.

Checks by our correspondent indicate that the latest adjustment is aimed at offering more value to customers and strengthening the refinery’s leadership in Nigeria’s petroleum supply landscape.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
