Paris Saint-Germain crowned their European journey in emphatic fashion on Saturday night, dismantling Inter Milan 5–0 to win their first-ever UEFA Champions League title in what will go down as the most dominant final in the competition’s 70-year history.

Luis Enrique’s vibrant young side produced a masterclass at the Allianz Arena, led by teenage sensation Désiré Doué, who scored twice and assisted once in a dazzling performance days before his 20th birthday.

Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring against his former club in the 12th minute, tapping into an empty net after a slick move involving Vitinha and Doué. The teenager then doubled PSG’s lead eight minutes later, firing home via a deflection after a lightning-quick counterattack.

Inter Milan, outplayed and overwhelmed, never recovered.

Doué struck again just past the hour mark, capping off a brilliant team move, before Khvicha Kvaratskhelia raced clear to make it four. Substitute Senny Mayulu added a fifth late on, delivering the most lopsided result ever recorded in a European Cup or Champions League final.

The result marks a watershed moment for PSG, who finally claim continental glory after years of near-misses and heavy investment by their Qatari ownership. The Parisian giants had only reached the final once before which was the 1–0 defeat to Bayern Munich in 2020.

PSG also become just the second French club to win Europe’s premier competition, joining Marseille, who lifted the trophy in 1993 — also in Munich.
