Former Chief Whip of the Ogun State House of Assembly and immediate past representative of Odogbolu State Constituency, Hon. Atinuke Bello, has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslim faithful across Ogun State and Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

In a goodwill message issued on Friday, Hon. Bello congratulated the Muslim Ummah on witnessing another Eid season, describing the festival as a time of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice and unwavering faith.

She urged Muslims to emulate the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), whose obedience and devotion to Allah form the foundation of the celebration and called on Nigerians to rededicate themselves to values that promote peace and tolerance.

“This season reminds us of the strength of faith, the importance of obedience to God’s will and the virtue of sacrifice. As we celebrate, let us also remember to extend kindness to our neighbours, support the less privileged, and uphold the spirit of unity that binds us together as one people,” she said.

Hon. Bello also prayed for continued peace, progress and prosperity in Ogun State, as currently being enjoyed under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, urging citizens to remain hopeful and resilient.

While wishing all Muslims a joyous and fulfilling Sallah celebration, she encouraged them to celebrate responsibly and in accordance with public safety guidelines.
