The Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Ogun State Chapter, held its extended state executive meeting on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the union’s state secretariat in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The meeting, which brought together members of the state executive council and branch chairmen from across the state, focused on reinforcing discipline and strengthening the union’s commitment to peace and order.

In his address, the State Chairman of the union, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, urged members to maintain good conduct while discharging their duties and to avoid any actions that could tarnish the image of the union.

Otunba Sokoya emphasized the need for collective efforts in sustaining the relative peace being enjoyed across the state under the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON. He called on all members to distance themselves from violence and uphold the law at all times.

“We must all contribute to the peace and stability of Ogun State. As a responsible union, we cannot afford to be associated with acts of lawlessness or misconduct,” he said.
