…..commends members for their show of solidarity at Presidential Visit

The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) held its monthly extended State Executive Council meeting on Tuesday at its state secretariat in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.

The meeting was attended by key union leaders, including the State Chairman, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya; State Deputy Chairman, Comrade Kazeem Lawal; State Secretary, Comrade Kamal Kelani, Public Relations Officer, Comrade Arowolo Adebola and branch chairmen from across the state.

In his address, the Chairman, Otunba Sokoya commended members for their visible show of solidarity during President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent visit to Ogun State. He described their turnout as a demonstration of unwavering support not only for the President but also for the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON.

A major highlight of the meeting was the inauguration of a ten-member State Task Force, mandated to monitor and address misconduct among union members across various branches.

“We have received disturbing reports of certain members engaging in conduct that could impede our collective progress,” Sokoya stated. “To address these issues, the state leadership has set up a task force committee, saddled with the responsibility of ensuring discipline and accountability.”

The committee, chaired by Comrade Arode Olasubomi Sunday, has been directed to commence operations immediately. The newly inaugurated state task force members are;
