Controversial Nigerian street-pop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has rejected a ₦100 million offer to engage in a physical fight with social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), demanding a staggering ₦1 billion instead.

The escalating feud between the duo began after Portable slammed VeryDarkMan for his vocal criticism of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. Since then, both personalities have been locked in a heated exchange online, trading diss tracks and social media jabs.

In a viral video making the rounds, Portable dismissed the ₦100 million proposal as an insult, boasting that he regularly receives that amount in fan support.

“That ₦100 million—my fans give me that already. ₦100m is too small to fight VDM. Let them bring ₦1 billion, I’ll fight and beat him,” the singer said confidently.

He also questioned the sincerity of those encouraging the clash, suggesting they fear VeryDarkMan themselves.

“If anybody can drop ₦1 billion, I’ll fight him. Someone you can’t even hold or arrest—you now want me to fight him? You’re scared of him, yet you want me to take him on,” he said.

The online spat between Portable and VeryDarkMan continues to dominate social media conversations, drawing widespread attention from fans and critics alike.
