The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has slashed the ex-depot (gantry) price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the refinery’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, said the price adjustment took immediate effect.
Chiejina described the move as part of the company’s unwavering commitment to national development and its assurance of steady, uninterrupted supply of petroleum products.
He also disclosed that, from August 15, 2025, the refinery would begin the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for nationwide fuel distribution, in line with its drive for operational efficiency and sustainable energy solutions.
