A non-governmental organzation – Eleyun Charitable Organization has once again demonstrated its commitment to education by completing the payment of school fees and providing essential learning materials for beneficiaries of its scholarship scheme across Ijebu Igbo.

The organization, established a few years ago by young philanthropist and humanitarian, Hon. Adetayo Adenaike (Eleyun), had randomly selected indigent students from all public secondary schools in Ijebu Igbo with a pledge to sponsor their education throughout their secondary school journey.

For the 2025/2026 academic session, first term, the foundation has paid the tuition fees of the beneficiaries in full while also equipping them with new school uniforms, bags, notebooks, textbooks and other writing materials needed to aid their studies.

The beneficiaries include:

Oduyomi Ibrahim – Shamsudeen Grammar School

Afolabi Modinat – Beje High School

Okebiolorunosi Blessing – Ijebu Igbo Girls’ Grammar School

Sodiq Imoleayo – Japara High School

Alausa Ayomitope – Ladugbo Community High School

Joshua Ayomide – Beje High School

Mustapha Gafar – Abusi Odumare High School

Arole Opemipo – Beje High School

Adeyemi Oluwafunmilayo – Molusi College

Parents and guardians of the students expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organization for once again lifting a major financial burden off their shoulders. They lauded Hon. Adenaike for his foresight and benevolence, describing the initiative as a lasting investment in the future of the children.

The students, in their remarks, also expressed appreciation for the rare opportunity, pledging to remain focused, excel academically and make their benefactor and their parents proud.

The organization has, over the years, carved a reputation for itself as a beacon of hope for underprivileged families in Ijebu Igbo, with its scholarship scheme serving as a model for youth-driven philanthropy.
