The Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Ogun State chapter, has joined Nigerians in marking the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary, with warm felicitations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, the State Chairman of AMORAN, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, congratulated the President, the Governor, and their cabinets, describing the anniversary as a moment of reflection and renewed hope for national progress.

Otunba Sokoya prayed for God’s wisdom and guidance for leaders at both the federal and state levels, urging them to continue steering the country towards sustainable growth and development.

The AMORAN chairman also extended his greetings to members of the association across Ogun State, commending their resilience and law-abiding conduct as major contributors to the state’s transportation system. He wished all citizens a prosperous new month of October.

While reaffirming AMORAN’s support for the policies and programmes of the Abiodun-led administration, Sokoya lauded the planned commencement of Value Jet Airline’s commercial operations from Ogun State to Abuja. He described the initiative as a landmark step that would enhance economic activities, create jobs, and reinforce the state’s attractiveness to investors.

“The entire membership of AMORAN in Ogun State is solidly behind Your Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun. The launch of Value Jet services is a testament to your visionary leadership and commitment to building a thriving, multi-modal economy. We are proud of this progress and assure you of our continued support and cooperation,” the statement read in part.

He further urged Nigerians to remain hopeful, united, and supportive of the government’s efforts toward building a more secure and prosperous nation.
