The central region will experience sunny skies with patches of clouds, while isolated thunderstorms and light rain are likely over Kogi and the FCT.

In the south, cloudy conditions are expected in the morning, followed by thunderstorms with moderate rainfall later in the afternoon and evening across Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Delta and Akwa Ibom States.

NiMet reiterated the high risk of flash floods, advising motorists to exercise caution during rainfall and urging authorities in vulnerable areas to implement proactive flood-response measures.

The agency also cautioned individuals with asthma and other respiratory conditions to limit outdoor exposure due to dust particles suspended in the atmosphere, particularly in the northern region.
