The National Youth Service Corps has released the deployment details for its 2025 Batch C prospective corps members.

The scheme announced the development on Monday via its official X handle, confirming that call-up letters for the batch are now available for printing.

The NYSC also disclosed that some prospective corps members posted to Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory have been reassigned to neighbouring states for their orientation exercise due to capacity constraints at the camps.

According to the statement, some PCMs deployed to Lagos will undergo their orientation in Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, or Osun states. Similarly, those deployed to the FCT may be posted to orientation camps in Kaduna, Niger, or Nasarawa.

This arrangement aligns with an earlier announcement by the scheme stating that only about 40 per cent of registered PCMs can be accommodated in the orientation camps nationwide due to limited facilities across the 36 states and the FCT.

The NYSC also issued a travel advisory, warning prospective corps members against night travel while heading to their assigned orientation camps.

It further reminded PCMs to print and sign all required documents ahead of camp, noting that the forms must be submitted during registration upon arrival.

Last week, the NYSC released call-up numbers for the Batch C stream. Online registration for both locally trained and foreign-trained graduates opened on November 4 and closed on November 9.

The mobilisation timetable indicated that pre-camp physical verification for foreign-trained graduates would hold from November 9 to 13, while ICT processing was scheduled for November 12 to 15. Corps-producing institutions were also directed to facilitate the printing and distribution of deployment and call-up letters between November 16 and 18.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
