Hon. Jenriyi Osinowo, aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives (Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency), has congratulated the Oloko of Ijebu Mushin, Oba Stephen Adedeji Onafowokan, and the people of the community as they celebrate the 81st edition of the Ijebu Mushin Annual Rally.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Osinowo described the annual rally as a unifying cultural event that continues to strengthen the collective identity and aspirations of the people of Ijebu Mushin both at home and in the diaspora.

He praised Oba Onafowokan and the traditional institution for their “unwavering leadership, commitment to cultural preservation, and dedication to fostering peace and development” in the town.

“The Ijebu Mushin Annual Rally is more than a celebration, it is a testament to our shared identity, heritage and unity of purpose,” Osinowo said. “Each edition reinforces the bond that keeps us together as one proud people committed to the growth and progress of Ijebu Mushin.”

Osinowo also commended individuals, groups and organisations whose contributions have continued to drive socio-economic development in the community. He gave special recognition to youth groups and community development associations for their innovation, service-oriented programmes and impact on inclusive growth.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the collective aspirations of the people of Ijebu Mushin and contributing meaningfully to the development of Ijebu East Local Government and the wider federal constituency.

“As we celebrate this 81st anniversary, may this year’s rally usher in renewed unity, progress and blessings for all sons and daughters of Ijebu Mushin,” he added.
