The Executive Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Danku, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR and the people of Iperu Remo as they mark the 2025 Akesan Day Celebration.

In a goodwill message contained in a commemorative flyer released on Saturday, Otunba Sokoya extended warm felicitations to the governor and the entire Iperu Remo community, describing Akesan Day as a significant cultural festival that unites the town and reinforces its rich heritage.

Sokoya praised Governor Abiodun for his continued support for cultural development and community advancement initiatives across the state. He also commended the Iperu Remo people for preserving the age-long tradition that strengthens unity and fosters progress.

Akesan Day 2025, scheduled for November 29th, is expected to draw sons, daughters and well-wishers of Iperu Remo from across the country and the diaspora for a colourful celebration of culture, communal bonding and development partnerships.

The message was personally signed by Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, who reaffirmed AMORAN’s commitment to supporting government efforts and community-driven initiatives that promote peace, growth and cultural pride in Ogun State.
