The Senior Liaison Officer to the House of Representatives member representing Remo Federal Constituency, Asiwaju Babatunde Ayorinde (a.k.a Fabregas) has congratulated all Remo indigenes at home and in the diaspora on the celebration of this year’s Remo Day.


In a goodwill message personally signed by him and made available to Instant News Blog, Ayorinde described Remo Day as a significant occasion that reflects the rich cultural heritage, unity, resilience and enduring values of the Remo people. He noted that the celebration serves as a reminder of the shared history and collective strength that bind Remo citizens together across generations.


He also paid glowing tribute to the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remo Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi (Torungbuwa II), expressing deep respect and appreciation for Kabiyesi’s leadership. Ayorinde offered prayers for Kabiyesi, asking God to grant him good health, long life, wisdom and strength to continue to reign peacefully and usher in prosperity for Remo Land.


According to him, the celebration should inspire renewed commitment to peace, harmony and development across the land, while fostering inclusive growth for both indigenes and non-indigenes who reside and contribute to the socio-economic advancement of Remo Land.


Ayorinde further prayed that Remo Land would continue to witness progress, unity and abundant opportunities for present and future generations, urging the people to uphold the values of cooperation and mutual respect.


He wished all Remo citizens a joyful Remo Day celebration, expressing optimism that Remo Land would continue to rise in glory and honour.
