The Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, has commended Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for the commissioning of the Laderin – Prof. Wole Soyinka Train Station Road in Abeokuta South Local Government Area of the state.

Sokoya gave the commendation on Tuesday while delivering his remarks at the official commissioning ceremony of the newly constructed road.

He described the project as a landmark achievement by the Abiodun administration, noting that the road would significantly ease movement and improve connectivity for motorists, commuters and other road users within the axis.

According to him, the road, which was previously in poor condition and largely avoided by transporters, has now been transformed into a safe and motorable route that will enhance transportation activities and boost socio-economic development in the area.

Sokoya said motorcycle operators and other transport stakeholders would benefit immensely from the improved road network, as it would reduce travel time, vehicle damage and operational challenges.

He commended Governor Abiodun for prioritising infrastructure development and urged residents and road users to protect the facility to ensure its longevity.
