The Ogun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally sworn in its State Executive Council, reinforcing its commitment to the Party Constitution and the principles of unity, discipline, and grassroots mobilisation.

The oath-taking ceremony, conducted in strict compliance with Article 29 of the APC Constitution, was witnessed by a designated representative of the Party’s National Working Committee (NWC). The Article stipulates that every officer elected or appointed must subscribe to the Oath of Office before assuming official duties.

Addressing the newly sworn-in officers, the State Chairman urged members to prioritise the Party’s interest above personal or financial considerations. He stressed the importance of maintaining unity and discipline within the Party and encouraged officers to return to their local governments and wards to strengthen grassroots structures, noting that the foundation of political success lies at the community level.

In a show of gratitude, the State Executive Council commended Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his leadership in both governance and Party affairs, highlighting his role in fostering stability, growth, and cohesion within the APC in Ogun State.

The council collectively reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the Party’s constitution, ideals and collective progress.
