The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has postponed its presidential and governorship screening exercise earlier slated for this weekend to Monday.
The party disclosed this in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.
ADC also announced that, owing to the prevailing security challenges in parts of Northern Nigeria, the screening exercise for National Assembly aspirants would now take place in Abuja.
According to the statement, all affected aspirants would be contacted with updated schedules and other necessary details regarding the revised screening arrangements.
The party expressed regret over any inconvenience the postponement might cause and appreciated the understanding, patience and cooperation of aspirants, party leaders and other stakeholders.
