Ahead of 2027, the people of Ogun East are yearning for a senator who already understands the challenges of the district and possesses the experience to attract real value from the centre. Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, comes into this race with a record of leadership, through which he has shown the capacity to translate vision into visible results. That experience and competence is exactly what Ogun East senatorial district needs at the National Assembly.

The Senate is not a place for political apprenticeship. It requires influence, legislative insight and the ability to ensure that the interests of the people are never relegated. Over the years, he has built the networks and institutional knowledge that can be deployed to attract federal presence, facilitate strategic interventions and advance policies that will benefit every part of Ogun East. He embodies the character of a Representative needed to give the district a stronger voice where national decisions are made.

Indeed, the time has come for us to start choosing effective and people-based representation over mere occupation of office. With Prince Dapo Abiodun as senator, Ogun East stands to gain a representative whose experience in governance, commitment to development and understanding of the district’s potentials can translate into purposeful representation and lasting dividends for the people.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
